Hey, I’m Katie — photographer, professional third wheel & occasional wedding-day problem solver.
I’ve been photographing weddings for 16 years now, which feels slightly ridiculous to say out loud. Somewhere along the way I’ve photographed over 500 of them, picked up a few awards and met some properly wonderful (and wonderfully weird) people.
I like weddings that feel like you. Big ones, tiny ones, traditional ones, completely bonkers ones — I’m not here to tell you how your wedding should look. I’m there to photograph it as it actually felt.
My style is colourful, relaxed and mostly about people being people. Belly laughs, ugly crying, kids doing something they absolutely shouldn’t be doing, questionable dance moves and all the little bits of chaos happening while everyone else is looking the other way.
After this long in weddings, I’m also pretty useful without a camera in my hand. I’ve pinned buttonholes, fixed dresses, calmed nerves, hunted down missing relatives and helped rescue timelines that have gone completely out the window. Apparently “photographer” is quite a broad job description.
Outside of weddings, I’m happiest with my family, usually with a camera put away for once. There’s normally a board game taking over the table, something fantasy-related nearby, paint-covered Warhammer bits that definitely shouldn't be where they are, and music playing at a volume that probably explains a lot about me. 🤘
Couples often tell me it felt like having another friend at their wedding who just happened to take really good photos.
That’s pretty much exactly what I’m aiming for.

Meet the Manager
She is a 14-year-old smol ball of hatred who continues to oversee the smooth running of Radford Towers.
Her shenanigans regularly appear in the behind-the-scenes chaos over on the KEM Radford Instagram.
Ronnie was officially promoted to Manager after she walked across, stood on and then sat on the keyboard — resulting in a cryptic email being sent to a potential client.
After explaining the situation, the couple went on to successfully book their wedding photography.
To this day, staff have absolutely no idea what Ronnie said to convince Mr & Mrs Davies to hire Katie as their photographer.
They simply explained that they spoke cat and Ronnie was very convincing. Her methods remain questionable yet the results speak for themselves.
